Speed Eave ™ is Coastal’s first product to reach development. It won the inaugural “Building on Bright Ideas” Innovation award in 2006. It has been featured in ABC’s popular “New Inventors” Program. (4 April 2007 edition).
Speed Eave changes the way eave sheets, patio soffits, and wall sheets are joined in the industry. Refer to the SpeedEave video to demonstrate how the product works.
The existing art is to install sheets, then joiners (H Mould) concurrently. Speed Eave allows the sheets to be installed first. A gap is left between the sheets using plastic spacers, which act as another set of hands. It is now easy for someone to "click" the Speed Eave joiner into place.
Advantages include much quicker installation, a stiffer join with better straightening qualities with no sag. End sheets and the last sheet are as easy to install as the first.
Broken or damaged sheets can be removed, replaced and Speed Eave "clicked" into place.
Workers place sheets directly above themselves, they do not have to "reach out" or bend to slide a sheet across.

This is easy! Sheets are already installed, the trades are retro-fitting Speed Eave.

Note, when the roof tiler puts his foot through the soffit, repairs are easy, all they do is remove a section and nail a new one in, then clip the joiner in place.
